This month we celebrate the lives of all Cancer’s with performances by TWO TEARS formerly of the Red Aunts. The TWO TEARS is the garage rock, soul pounding,
power-house creation of Kerry Davis, former lead singer and guitar for
LA ‘90s girl band, The Red Aunts. She will be joined by bassist Debi
Martini and drummer Leslie Noelle, also former members of the Red
Aunts. Kerry also played in Beehive and the Barracudas, which features
members of the Hot Snakes and The Wets. Now residing in the Middle
East, her self-titled record was released in February 2007. For more

The gay rock-n-rollers of NYC finally have a new band to scream about: THE THE FRENCH LETTER, featuring Luis of Pansy Division and the Avengers, will be making their first ever live performance at QBR in July! Known for his pop punk drumming and reputation as a gentleman’s gentleman, Luis has recruited some local Brooklyn boys to join him in playing pop punk for a future generation. The French Letter boys are ready to rock your pants off, and maybe take you homo.
Brooklyn-based rock visionaries THE DEAD BETTIES came
together in 2002 and quickly emerged as a strident force on the indie
rock scene in New York City. With their signature polyphonics - a union
between the discordant energy and angular riffs of art noise and punk,
the clean melodies of classic glam rock, and complex lyrics that oppose
the status quo banalities of American life - The Dead Betties quickly
earned comparisons to pioneer groups such as Sonic Youth, Hole, My
Bloody Valentine and Bikini Kill. For more info, visit

Our MC for the night is BEN LERMAN, a gay
singer-songwriter, comedi an, writer, and videographer. He played in the
Isotoners, for which he wrote, played keyboards and bass, and sang. For
three years the Isotoners played around New York, honing themselves
musically and satirically to the point where the Village Voice put them
on the cover of their "Best of New York 2004" music section with a
full-page photo. Soon after, Ben learned to play the ukulele and
ventured out on his own. He’s been playing solo gigs since 2006. For
